We raise Berkshire breed pigs, a heritage breed known for its suitability to the pasture environment and prized by high-end restaurants for their richly flavored meat. They are raised on chemical-free, non-GMO, soy-free grains. Because they are raised on pastures with plenty of room to run around, their meat is firmer and more flavorful than factory farm pork. In the fall, they are finished on apples and pears that we grow here on the farm, providing a unique flavor to the meat.

Here is an example of what you will receive:

  • 6 (12oz) Sirloin Pork Chops
  • 22 (10oz) Pork Chops
  • 2 (1.5lb) Spare Ribs
  • 3 (4lb) Pork Roasts
  • 3 (4lb) Smoked Hams
  • 18 (1lb)  Bacon
  • 16 (1lb) Ground Pork or Sausage

Total = 79.25 pounds


    Pigs are highly intelligent animals with a broad emotional range. Keeping them in confinement is downright cruel and makes no sense whatsoever. We raise them to provide local consumers an ethical alternative that allows the pigs to have lives free from suffering, while they enrich our pastures and provide us with incredibly delicious pork.


    Our pigs spend their entire lives outside on pastures, and rotate to fresh pasture every few days. To provide this high quality of life, they also have access to mobile shelters where they can snuggle up and stay warm on the cooler nights. When they reach mature weight they are then slaughtered on-farm so that they don't have to endure the stress of transport to a slaughter facility. 


    Our 2019 pigs will be processed on Oct 12, 2019. You will be contacted by our butcher around this time to provide your cutting instructions. They will be happy to walk you through the options, or if you'd like we can provide standard cutting instructions on your behalf. Your meat and cures will be then be ready 1-4 weeks later.

    Your purchase includes FREE HOME DELIVERY. However you must live within 30 miles of one of our Pickup Locations. We will contact you to arrange delivery the week of Oct 12.
