We raise Berkshire breed pigs, a heritage breed known for their suitability to the pasture environment and prized for their richly flavored meat. They are raised on corn/soy/GMO-free grains.
Because they are raised on pastures with plenty of room to roam, their meat is firmer and more flavorful than factory farm pork. In the fall, they are fed apples and pears that we grow here on the farm, providing a unique flavor to the meat.

Purchasing this product includes all processing fees and includes FREE HOME DELIVERY within the Puget Sound region. The price per pound is based on the amount of meat you will receive (not "hanging weight.")
Our 2019 pigs will be processed on Oct 12, 2019. You will be contacted by our butcher around this time to provide your cutting instructions. They will be happy to walk you through the options, or we can provide standard cutting instructions on your behalf. Your meat will be then be ready 1 week later, and any cures (bacon, hams) will be ready 4 weeks later.
By purchasing this product you are engaging in Community Supported Agriculture (CSA.) This means you're helping us to cover costs (primarily feed) while your animal is being raised. For this reason, your card will be charged when you place your order, and then adjusted based upon the final weight just before delivery.
