I've got some really fun news to share this morning!

As you no doubt know by now, Hungry Hollow's mission is to provide a local, pasture-based alternative to factory farms here in Western Washington.

Since 2018, we've served thousands of customers and we continue to expand our production of pasture raised chickens to meet the local demand.

But the truth is, we've still got a LONG way to go before this type of farming becomes the rule, rather than the exception.

With this in mind, we've partnered with an incredible team based in Seattle to begin generating more local awareness of regenerative farming practices. This team is called Mt. Joy:

Mt. Joy is a collaboration with Chef Ethan Stowell, and it's all about creating incredible products from foods produced within regenerative agricultural contexts. And what better place to start than a delicious chicken sandwich?

This weekend is Mt. Joy's first ever "pop-up" and it's happening at Tavolata on Capitol Hill.

We'll be serving up delicious pasture-raised chicken sandwiches from Hungry Hollow on Friday, and sandwiches from four other incredible local farms also raising chickens on pastures on Saturday and Sunday.

Pre-orders are encouraged and can be placed @ MtJoy.com

We'll be open:

  • Fri, 10/14/22: 4p - 9p
  • Sat, 10/15/22: 11a - 9p
  • Sun, 10/16/22: 11a - 9p

I'll be there all day every day. Be sure to say hi and we can cheers our sandwiches to another small but sure step towards a future free of factory farms!
